PinWatchUptime and keyword monitoring for your site

Find out it’s down from PinWatch, not from a customer

Your website is where the bookings come from. When it goes down at 2am, or your payment page quietly breaks, the first person to notice shouldn’t be a customer. PinWatch checks as often as every minute, waits until it’s sure, then emails you, and emails again when it’s back.

Downtime is only a problem when nobody knows

Today

You hear about the outage from a customer

“Your site isn’t loading.” By the time that message arrives, it’s been down for hours and the bookings that would have come in didn’t.

With PinWatch

Add your site, your booking page and your API. PinWatch checks each one on its own schedule, as often as every minute, and emails you the moment an outage is confirmed.

Today

One blip wakes everyone for nothing

Most monitoring tools cry wolf. After the third false alarm, people stop reading the alerts.

With PinWatch

PinWatch only calls it down after three failed checks in a row, and tells you when the service is back. An expired certificate counts as down, because to your customers it is.

Today

Something on a page changed and nobody noticed

A supplier’s stock line, a competitor’s price, the “Book now” button on your own site after an update.

With PinWatch

Watch a page for a word or phrase and get an email when it appears or disappears. One phrase per monitor, checked from every five minutes to every six hours.

What’s inside

Watch what matters. Sleep through what doesn’t.

One less separate tool to log in to. Uptime and page changes live next to the rest of your business, under the same account.

Uptime monitors

Check websites, APIs, ports and DNS as often as every minute. Pause and resume whenever you like.

  • HTTP and HTTPS, TCP and DNS checks
  • An invalid or expired certificate counts as an outage
  • Events log and uptime percentage for every monitor

Keyword watches

Get alerted when a word or phrase appears on a page, or disappears from it.

Confirmed outages

A monitor is marked down only after several failed checks in a row, so one blip never wakes anyone.

Email alerts that mean it

You hear about an outage once it’s confirmed, and again the moment the service is back.

  • Down alerts after consecutive failed checks
  • A recovery email when it comes back up

History at a glance

Every check is recorded, with an events log and an uptime figure for each monitor.

  • Check results kept for 30 days
  • Pause and resume monitors any time

Shared with your team

One email when it matters

PinWatch waits for several failed checks in a row before it alerts you, then tells you again when the service recovers.

Questions, answered

How often can PinWatch check my site?

Uptime monitors can check every minute up to every hour (5 minutes by default). Keyword monitors check every 5 minutes up to every 6 hours (15 minutes by default).

Will I get alerts for one-off blips?

No. A monitor is only marked down after several consecutive failed checks.

Does PinWatch check SSL certificates?

Yes. An invalid or expired certificate on an HTTPS monitor counts as an outage.
